The dispenser has a battery-powered digital timer that allows deferred access to the bowls, ensuring your pet gets the correct amount of food at the right time. The LCD display allows you to view all programmed feeds, selected meal times (even several times a day) and battery charge status. The food in the bowls is kept fresh for several hours by two ice tiles (included in the package). Operation is ensured by 3 AA batteries (not included in the package), which ensure an operating time of up to 1 year. Both the bowls and the lid are easily removable and are also dishwasher safe for thorough cleaning. The main body can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
