Founded in 1956, the company Rinaldo Franco S.p.a. was named after the founder of the same name who, first with the indispensable help of his wife and life partner, Lina, and then with his two sons, Dan and Claudio, developed the company, enabling it to achieve its current strong presence in the Pet market thanks to his strong entrepreneurial skills.

Rinaldo Franco S.p.a. is now present on both the Italian and international markets, producing and distributing articles for dogs, cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, turtles and fish.

Over a hundred people are involved in the development of the company's business, from the head office team to the field sales force.

Claudio Franco, the second-born of the founder Rinaldo Franco, prematurely disappeared, leaving a deep mark of himself in the heart of the family, the employees and in a large number of suppliers and customers, with whom he had solid relations of respect and collaboration. The company renews itself to face up this loss and, thanks to its historical stability, continues with new vigor and strength its development programs by implementing its expansion on the market and innovative projects

The company faces important changes. The third generation is completed by the entrance of Monica Franco the purchased of the new property in Trezzano sul Naviglio. The following year, Lina Franco leaves us at the age of 95. The new office has a warehouse four times larger than the previous one, spacious and bright offices and a modern facade. The work is always growing, as well as the staff, collaborations and new customers. All this would not have been possible if there had not been the tenacity of Lina combined with the patience of Rinaldo and the entrepreneurial spirit of Claudio. The company grows exponentially, reaching excellent goals. Huge investments are made to improve the management of internal working cycles, and, in particular, the warehouse’s software is renovated to guarantee more and more efficiency and precision in preparing and processing orders. The iPad order management program has been implemented.

With passion and professionalism, the Rinaldo Franco S.p.a. staff takes care of all the necessary steps to supply its pet shops.
The 5600 square metre warehouse, with the use of an efficient IT service, monitors and guarantees the immediate availability of articles.
Automatic order management allows for very fast processing and distribution times; departing goods are marked and checked electronically to ensure maximum accuracy.
Our services would not be possible without the hard work of the entire company team: the sales team, the purchasing team, the warehouse staff, our field agents, the operations team, customer service and administrative staff, each of us makes an indispensable contribution to the operation of this great machine, which allows Pet Shops throughout Italy and internationally to offer the end customer the right accessories for the animals that live in our homes.
For Rinaldo Franco S.p.a., the focal point of every company activity is them, our pets, who always deserve the best. 


Brand

As already mentioned, in addition to its flagship brand Record, which affects all areas of pet accessories, the Rinaldo Franco S.p.a. group also owns two other well-known brands, Cat&rina, a brand dedicated to cat litter, and Acquafriend, a brand relating to the world of aquariology.
With their iconic and easily identifiable packaging, the brands of the Rinaldo Franco S.p.a. group have now become synonymous with reliability and quality, a seal of approval on the pet accessory shelves. 

 

Sales network

Together with the three area managers, the Record Agents represent Rinaldo Franco S.p.a.'s field sales force.
They consist of over 50 agents selected from among the most professional and experienced in the sector who visit our customers' Pet Shops in person to present the products on sale and to place orders with the retailer who wants to supply his shop, exchanging information with the customer on mutual experiences and market trends. These moments of verification and comparison are also an opportunity to receive accurate information on promotional initiatives and new products introduced monthly in the assortment.
All Record agents use the company's advanced Ipad with which they access the management software designed specifically for their business.
In this way, the agents refer to constantly updated data on the assortment in the Milan headquarters.
This system allows orders to be transmitted and consequently dispatched very quickly.

We work with Pets

Our 'We work with pets' initiative allowed the whole team to bring their pets into the office. Lots of cuddles, new friendships, snacks and games to try made the day special for our pets and their owners.

In a reality where efforts are made every day to meet the needs of our four-legged friends, being able to work with them makes the working environment even more pleasant and positive.

Moreover, thanks to pets, socialisation between colleagues is encouraged and opportunities to meet outside the work environment are created.
